Simple Elegance for Ciara & Robert

While it wasn’t love at first sight that didn’t stop the story of Ciara and Robert from becoming one for the books! The two, who first met in college while working together at Harris Teeter, started forever together when Robert he proposed to Ciara in front of the first home they purchased together!

Their April wedding was soft and romantic with a touch of rustic detail. Their venue choice of The Pavilion at Carriage Farms was the perfect backdrop for a glamorous yet rustic wedding and their navy blue, gold and blush color palette went beautifully with the setting. Ciara filled the venue with rustic signs, natural wood slices topped with mason jar floral arrangements, and gold touches for a pop of metallic flair. Hydrangeas, Ciara’s favorite flower, were incorporated throughout the entire wedding and garlands of greenery served as the perfect accent to the soft flowers. Simple and romantic was the theme of the day and from the décor to the countryside setting, everything fell perfectly into place as J. Hagan Photography expertly captured it.

Ciara and Robert both love to indulge occasionally in chicken and waffles so they served a mini-sized portion of the delicious treat for their cocktail hour and guests couldn’t have been more thrilled! One of the most special moments of their day was the first look that Ciara and Robert shared prior to their ceremony. It was the perfect way to shake the wedding day nerves. The entire day was amazing and when asked her wedding planning advice, Ciara shared, “I tried to not stress about the small things during the wedding day (we ran out of alcohol halfway through our reception!). I knew that all the small details would work themselves out and everyone was there to celebrate us no matter what happened! It was the best day and I would do it all again if I could!”

Congratulations, Ciara and Robert!
