Few voices capture a wedding weekend quite like a mother of the bride, and mom Kelly’s letter says it all. After celebrating her daughter Caroline’s marriage to David at The Pavilion at Carriage Farm, Kelly took the time to thank our team from the heart, and her words are proof of just how much care goes into every wedding we host. From wedding planning support to day-of details, here is her story, in her own words.
Dear Pavilion at Carriage Farm Staff,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did to make Caroline and David’s wedding weekend abundantly more than we could have ever asked for or expected!
Carolyn, you and your team truly demonstrated the incredible value of a wedding planner. You handled every challenge with poise, grace, and dignity. Without your patience and expertise, the weekend would not have been the success it was. You rock!
Michelle, your relentless efforts to ensure The Pavilion shined throughout the weekend were nothing short of spectacular. Your hard work met every expectation for a very engaged bride and both of our families.
Destination Wedding? MOB says Easy Peasy
Marti and Shawn, thank you for helping Phil and me navigate the new experience of hosting a wedding at a destination venue. Due to our inexperience and lack of time, we threw a lot at you—usually at the last minute. Yet, you never made us feel like we didn’t know what we were doing or that we were driving you crazy. Marti, I am so grateful you gave David that final tour and eloquently shared the logistics when, just three weeks out, Caroline was determined to be your first field bride (fire ants, nats, and EMS alerts included). And Shawn, I will never forget how you managed to get the bride into her dress and helped ease our minds along the way with your direct and well-worded wisdom.
I will be reaching out to the vendors individually to thank them, but I wanted to start with the heart of the wedding team. This was truly one of the best weekends of our lives.
