Melissa & Jonathan’s Romantic February Wedding

“To have and to hold, in case you get cold.”

Melissa & Jonathan

February 2, 2019

As we get ready to kick off our 2020 wedding season, we are reminiscing on some of our favorite moments from 2019!  February is the month of love, so we figured what better way to kickoff our first real wedding blog post of the year than with Melissa & Jonathan’s wedding one year ago this month?!

When guests arrived to the ceremony space, they were greeted with a basket of blankets that said “to have and to hold, in case you get cold”.  How stinkin’ cute is that?!  In typical North Carolina fashion, we were graced with a sunny, 60 degree day in February.  Most of the guests didn’t even need the blankets but it’s the thought that counts and it made for adorable photos!

The pergola was adorned with gorgeous greenery and lush florals.  The neutral white and blush roses, combined with pops of deep burgundy accented the wood perfectly.  The bridesmaids dresses pulled from the romantic burgundy accents in their bouquets and to tie it all together the girls wore stunning fur shawls!

The sunlight shone down right on Melissa & Jonathan as they were saying their vows!  Then the bridal party proceeded to the fields where Megan captured some gorgeous sunset photos!  The smiles on their faces say it all!

As guests entered the Pavilion for the reception, they were greeted with more romantic, deep burgundy and navy accents.  Candles, greenery and more floral arrangements filled the guest tables.  The fireplace mantle was really the showstopper and served as a perfect background for Melissa & Jonathan’s sweetheart table and all of their first dances!  It even cooled off enough to have the fireplace going to set the mood.

Throughout the evening, their guests laughed and danced all night long.  The festivities were complete with s’mores around the firepit and a sparkler send off.

It was surely a romantic, February wedding for Melissa & Jonathan!

Cheers to one year, Mr. and Mrs. Price!
