Stunning Dream Weddings

The Pavilion at Carriage Farm, located south of downtown Raleigh, NC, is a stunning venue for your country wedding ceremony and wedding reception. Whether you dream of a small outdoor ceremony or an elegant gala under the stars, you will find it at The Pavilion.

The Pavilion

Set your special occasion to spectacular scenery with contemporary comforts. The Pavilion at Carriage Farm’s 10,000-square-foot space combines the rustic beauty of countryside living with modern convenience, setting the scene for a country wedding or event everyone will remember.

That scene begins when you open the large, wooden double doors to the expansive reception area. Guests are greeted with the glow of four dazzling chandeliers, the warm light bouncing off the North Carolina pine walls. At the far end, a stately stone wood-burning fireplace draws the eye, ready to lend light, warmth, and ambiance to your evening event. The 34-foot fireplace is made of Tennessee field stone. It’s topped with a wooden mantel, a beam from the 1800s, reclaimed from the original home that once stood on the property. The red, barn-shaped Pavilion’s wood beams stretch to a 30-foot gambrel roof. The space is 60 by 75 feet and can accommodate 50 to 300 guests along with room for dancing. During the summer months, breezes float naturally through the Pavilion.

Guests will fall in love with the stunning reclaimed wood and antique sconces in the entryway, where you’ll find a space that can be used as anything from a cake room to a coat check. Enter the climate-controlled venue through a stunning vaulted ceiling foyer, off of which you will find elegantly designed restrooms, with oak ceilings and a specially poured floor with a unique design.

Behind The Pavilion, guests can mingle during cocktail hour on the flagstone patio, complete with a gas fire pit and wall for seating or extra candles.

The Pavilion is situated to one side of the 112-acre property and overlooks rolling pastures and a grove of North Carolina’s tall pine trees. White blooms dot the property, including crepe myrtles and roses. The serene country backdrop has become a photographer favorite.

The Pavilion’s private driveway ends in a circle for easy entry, and a nearby parking area can accommodate your entire party.

The kitchen is a caterer’s dream, with a restaurant-sized refrigerator and several stainless steel countertops, plus multiple hand-washing sinks.

Ceremony Sites

The Pavilion’s rear garden provides a picturesque setting for your country wedding ceremony. The flat landscaping makes it easy to line chairs for all guests and set the scene with a lovely aisle. Say “I do” beneath an elegant pergola elevated on a hard surface so your guests can better view your beautiful commitment. Landscaping around the pergola is breathtaking with tea olives, magnolia’s, crepe myrtles, and annual flowers in bloom. The surrounding pines, red Pavilion, and fireplace create a lasting impression of your momentous occasion.

If you prefer, set your vows against the backdrop of the nearby pond, where you will often catch a glimpse of stately herons striding through the water. This natural, lush landscape has created stunning photographs and memories alike.
